Google Analytics 4 + AdWords Module

Description

This OpenCart module lets you track page views, product clicks, product detail views, product performance, related product list performance, product searches, checkout start, payment progress, checkout funnel steps and order confirmations with Google Analytics 4.

The module includes the following GA4 events:

• view_item - When a piece of content has been shown to the user
• view_item_list - When the user is shown a list of items, such as similar products
• add_to_cart - An item was added to a shopping cart for purchase
• view_cart - The user opens the shopping cart page
• remove_from_cart - An item was removed from a cart
• search - Helps you identify the most popular content in your app
• add_to_wishlist - An item was added to a wishlist
• login - The user logged in
• sign_up - The user registered an account
• begin_checkout - The user started a checkout
• checkout_progress - Measures each subsequent checkout step
• set_checkout_option - Measures the checkout option (i.e. the selected payment method)
• add_payment_info - The user submitted their payment information
• add_shipping_info - The user submitted their shipping information
• purchase - Order confirmed. The user completed the purchase and reached the "Thank you" or "Success" page.

The module also includes the Google AdWords Enhanced option

This option lets you:

• Track the order ID, order total and currency.
• Use enhanced Google AdWords conversion tracking on the order success page.
• Track AdWords conversions when a purchase or checkout is completed and the user reaches the thank-you or confirmation page.
